Soft tissue injuries can occur in many different places. Some of the soft tissue injuries we see here at County Line include: whiplash, sprain and strains, bruises and concussions. A few common symptoms in the effected area include dull or sharp pain, swelling and bruising, weakness, stiffness, numbness and a limited range of motion.

In a car accident, the most common soft tissue injury we treat is whiplash, followed by other sprains and strains in the spine and other joints. Soft tissue injuries can occur from auto accidents, slip and falls, workplace injuries and more.

After a soft tissue injury, its important to rest the area and apply ice until you can seek care. Concussions should always be treated with the highest priority, seek emergency medical attention. Our team will use a variety of patient proven methods to treat your soft tissue injury, including: adjustments, manual therapy, ice and heat, stretching, ultrasound, electrical stimulation and muscle strengthening exercises. Every patient receives a custom treatment plan that is flexible based on how you respond to it.

After a brief consultation regarding your pains and injury, related accident and history, we will perform a complete neurological and physical examination to determine the extent of damage. X-Ray and MRI studies may be done to assist in proper diagnosis. A report of findings will be done with you to go over your injury and in-office and at-home treatment plans.
